The $tripped Project is a sw'er led platform committed to truth, education, and cultural accountability. Born out of necessity, $tripped was created in response to ongoing erasure, censorship, and the widespread appropriation of sw especially by those profiting off our labor, language, and aesthetics without credit, context, or care. What began as a self-published zine has grown into a movement: We produce educational infographics, host donation-based workshops, and provide accessible community learning spaces- led by and for sw'ers across identities, borders, and lived realities. We center the voices of Black, trans, queer, undocumented, disabled, and historically excluded sw'ers because these are the voices most often silenced, even within sw spaces. We’re not here to sugarcoat this industry. We’re here to tell the truth, protect our stories, and fight for visibility with honest & integrity. $tripped is about more than representation. It’s about: Documenting our history in real time Redistributing resources through mutual aid and education And reshaping the narrative The $tripped Project exists to hold space for hard conversations, bold truths, and collective liberation.

I’m Sativah, a sw'er with over 14 years in the game, representing Black, queer, and marginalized communities with pride. The $tripped Project was born from a shared need to tell our stories on our own terms. To challenge the stigma. To name how the pole dance industry, media, and sex work spaces continue to profit off the culture we built — while pushing us out of the conversation. We created this platform to reclaim our narratives, offer real education, and build something sustainable for sex workers, by sex workers. We’ve hosted community events like Pole in the Park and Friendsgiving, partnered with orgs like Musemint to provide sliding scale workshops, and made it a priority to show up with more than words, offering free STI/HIV testing, protection, drug testing strips, hygiene supplies, and direct support to our people. Through our Patreon and workshops, we offer content that helps $W’ers build skills, grow their income, and move with intention in an industry that often asks us to disappear. We’re not just reacting to harm, we’re building alternatives. We’re committed to truth, to reparation, and to standing proud in our work and who we are. This is our culture. Our labor. Our community. And $tripped is here to protect it.
